If this is your first time here, you won’t really notice. If you’ve been with us since the beginning, this is a huge update.

Over the past 12 months we talked with our customers, friends and the EverDry Toledo team to find out what a basement waterproofing website should be. Not a very interesting topic is it? You’d be surprised at all the feedback we received – and – how much work the final product required.

Luckily, the teams at Orange Apple and Fix My PC Now! were with us every step of the way. Weekly meetings, A/B testing and usability feedback – We’ve got a great place to start adding more exciting basement waterproofing content.

So…

1. This was our starting point in December of 2008 – the original Everdry website. Incidentally, this unchanged and neglected website served as our only footprint on the Internet since 2001. Oh… how we’ve changed. The one constant throughout the years has always been our loyal mascot, Everett. He always puts a smile on our faces :)

circa 2001. What's up with Everett's Eyes?

2. When the project started we immediately removed the dated page for a temporary, but updated, look.

A major improvement. We were definitely on the right track.

3. Which then gave way to our first revision and new content. Something was missing though. It just didn’t give us that warm-fuzzy feeling we were after.

A new look with new content. We weren't satisfied.

4. Not satisfied with the overall presence, look and feel of the version above, the website committee started thinking outside the box and went back to the drawing board. A very detailed mock-up was created (and approved). Clean lines, less clutter and easier access to the information that is most useful to our visitors were the goals. While we were at it, we also updated the logo and type.

Finally. We had the "look" we were after!

Since the mock-up was only an image created in Photoshop it still had be converted to a version that allowed interaction. With final approval from the team – it was sliced and diced and moved to our content management system. Now, almost 12 months to the day, you’re using the improved Everdry Toledo website – now with 3 times more waterproofing website action!

This makes it sound like cake. Believe me: it was hard work.
